SSZ Camouflage Technology AG Receives Contract Award for Multispectral Camouflage Systems

SSZ Camouflage Technology AG is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a domestic supplier in the recent armasuisse procurement for multispectral camouflage and deception systems (MSTS). This decision marks an important contribution to advancing the protection of Swiss troops and strengthening national industrial capabilities in security-relevant technologies.

Following a rigorous evaluation and selection process, systems from three European manufacturers were tested under realistic field conditions at the Thun and Bure training grounds. The solution provided by SSZ Camouflage Technology AG demonstrated superior performance in key capability areas and will now be further developed to achieve full operational suitability.

By selecting SSZ Camouflage Technology AG, the Swiss government is deliberately strengthening domestic technological and industrial competencies – a key objective of the Federal Council’s Armament Policy Strategy of June 20, 2025. This strategy aims to ensure that security-critical key technologies and core industrial capabilities remain anchored in Switzerland.

SSZ Camouflage Technology AG brings decades of experience in developing and producing multispectral camouflage solutions. Over the coming months, the company will work closely with armasuisse and military authorities to finalize the systems for operational deployment and achieve full readiness.
